WCB shares results of recent client survey
Charlottetown, May 26, 2026 - The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) is pleased to share that its most recent client survey found that employers continue to experience high levels of overall satisfaction with their WCB service experience. The WCB surveys its two major stakeholder groups—injured workers and employers—on a biennial basis. These surveys have been conducted since 2002 providing valuable long-term data to measure performance and progress. In the fall of 2025, Narrative Research surveyed 500 employers across Prince Edward Island. The survey found that the Employer Service Satisfaction Index, which combines the key metrics of the WCB’s service, now stands at 84.9 out of 100, an increase of 0.7 since the previous survey and on par with the highest level recorded (85 in 2019). In addition, 85% of employers surveyed say they believe that the WCB is effective at delivering services which represents a 3% increase since 2023. “We are pleased that employers continue to report high satisfaction with the service provided by WCB team members,” said Dan Campbell, CEO of the Workers Compensation Board. “Our people are central to this ongoing success, and their dedication and client-centred approach are reflected in these results.” “The Board of Directors is pleased to see the continued trend of satisfaction,” said Jim MacPhee, Chair of the Workers Compensation Board. “We have an engaged and supported team that is the key to the work that we do. As the needs of our clients continue to grow and change, we stay focused on adapting our services to support them.” Survey results and summary reports are available on the WCB website: https://www.wcb.pe.ca/Information/Surveys -30- For more information, contact WCB Communications at news@wcb.pe.ca or 902-388-8671.
