World Mental Health Day

Tomorrow, October 10, is World Mental Health Day. Did you know 1 in 5 Canadians experience a mental health problem or illness each year? Mental health touches us all, whether directly or indirectly, and is an important part of our overall well-being both at home and at work. Everyone has the right to a safe and healthy workplace, and that extends beyond physical safety. A psychologically healthy and safe workplace is one where all workers are supported, respected, and included. By raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting each other, we can help make workplaces safer and healthier for everyone. Have Your Voice Heard

Have your voice heard! We are currently inviting stakeholder input on the proposed changes to the policy Pre-Existing Conditions (POL-61). The goal of these changes is to provide clarity on how claims involving pre-existing conditions are adjudicated and to bring WCB PEI coverage for aggravations of pre-existing condition in line with all other Canadian jurisdictions.
