Reminder for Employers
We want to remind employers that deferred payments to the WCB are due by August 31. If you filed your annual assessable payroll estimate before the February 28 deadline, and your assessment is $1,000 or more, your assessment is divided into two equal billings. The first bill is issued in March, and the second bill is issued in August. If you have any questions, please see our Employer Registration FAQ or contact Employer Services at 902-368-5680.

Help guide the WCB’s 2027-2029 Strategic Plan
As the WCB prepares for its next Strategic Plan, we are looking ahead to the future and building on the progress made over the past three years. Through our 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, we have strengthened our services, supported our employees, responded to the evolving needs of workers and employers, and laid important groundwork for our Business Transformation Initiative. Our 2027-2029 Strategic Plan will continue this momentum, helping guide how we deliver services and support safer, healthier workplaces across Prince Edward Island. Our Business Transformation will continue to be a significant driver as we focus on creating a more modern, efficient, and client-centered experience. And we want to hear from you : your perspective is essential in helping us understand where we are succeeding, where we can improve, and where new opportunities may exist.
