Online certificate courses now available

The WCB has a variety of FREE online certificate courses now available for all! Take advantage of enhancing your knowledge and understanding of the following topics: Hazard Assessment and Control Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee Basics Supervisor Safety Workplace Disability Management Workplace Safety for Young Workers All courses are based on PEI legislation currently in effect and can be used as part of worker safety orientation or your workplace’s safety program. National Day of Mourning

April 28 is the National Day of Mourning. On this day we remember workers we lost to work-related injuries and illnesses. The PEI Federation of Labour is hosting an event on April 28, 7 p.m., St. Paul’s Hall, 101 Prince St., Charlottetown.
