National Injury Prevention Day
July 6 is National Injury Prevention Day.   One way to help prevent injuries in the workplace is through an effective Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program.   In PEI, employers with 20 or more workers are required by law to have an OHS program. An OHS program is an organized, written action plan to identify and control hazards, define safety responsibilities and respond to emergencies.    Prevent injuries with a strong safety program.

Exciting News!
Earlier this week, the WCB marked a major milestone in our Business Transformation Initiative (BTI): we officially issued our Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new system replacement!   Issuing the RFP is an exciting step forward in our transformation journey, bringing us closer to our goal of modernizing our systems and processes and strengthening how we serve workers, employers and our teams.   As we move into the next phase of this important initiative, we look forward to sharing more updates on our progress and the positive impact this transformation will have for those we serve.
