The WCB is committed to reducing the financial impact of work-related injury or illness, and this can include reimbursing you for your out-of-pocket expenses.

Expenses that may be reimbursed are those that result from WCB approved medical services and return to work programs, such as: It is important that you contact your case worker to discuss reimbursement before paying out of pocket. All expenses must have prior approval from the WCB.

Please note that the WCB does not reimburse for transportation costs associated with pick up of prescriptions and supplies, or for attendance at hearings with the Internal Reconsideration Officer or the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT).

To request reimbursement for your expenses, complete the Worker's Expense Form and submit it within six months by mail, drop off, email, or fax to:

Receipts are required for all expenses except meals and mileage.
