Reminder for all Registered Employers

The deadline for renewing your WCB Employer Registration for 2011-2012 is February 28, 2012. Click here to renew your Employer Registration using the WCB’s Online Services, or mail, drop off or fax your Employer Registration Form to: Workers Compensation Board of PEIPO Box 757, 14 Weymouth Street Charlottetown, PE C1A 7L7 Fax: 902-368-5705 If you have not received your 2011-2012 Employer Registration package, or are not currently registered with the Workers Compensation Board, please contact us. To avoid a penalty for filing late, please renew your registration by February 28, 2012.

February is Heart Month

This month is Heart Month, reminding us all to make heart-healthy lifestyle choices to increase the length and the quality of our lives. We all know that eating healthy, exercising regularly and reducing stress can improve our heart health. But did you know that something as simple as stretching can also contribute to cardiovascular fitness? Stretching can increase blood flow and help keep arteries pliable. Regular stretching is particularly important for people like office workers, drivers and equipment operators, who work in positions where they are required to sit for long periods.
