Workers Compensation Board of Prince Edward Island

WCB offers new Online Services for employers

April 02, 2012

The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) is pleased to offer Online Services for employers.  Online Services offer a convenient and secure way for employers to access their account information, and as of March 1, 2012, employers also have the option of paying their WCB assessments electronically.

In addition to the new payment service, a WCB Online Services account allows employers to renew their registration, request clearance letters, submit accident reports and view their WCB accounts from anywhere the Internet is available.

“The WCB’s Online Services have had a positive impact on my business”, said Cory Levy, owner of Excel Contracting, a residential construction business based in York.  “I no longer have to drive to Charlottetown to conduct my WCB business. Now, I can take care of it from my computer, which saves valuable time and money."

“At the WCB, we are always looking for ways to improve our programs and services for our stakeholders”, said Nancy Guptill, Workers Compensation Board Chair. "We are pleased to be able to provide added value to Island employers with our Online Services."

The Workers Compensation Board is developing additional services, including Online Services for workers and health care providers. For more information about Online Services and to sign up for an account, visit the Online Services section of the WCB website.
