The WCB Prevention Services team includes a Youth Education Consultant and two Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Education Consultants.
OHS Education Consultants
OHS Education Consultants work with employers and workers in a range of industries to support understanding of PEI’s workplace health and safety requirements. They provide education services to minimize risks, prevent incidents, and support employers in promoting the overall physical and psychological health and safety of workers. The Youth Education Consultant focuses on workplace safety education for young workers under the age of 25. This includes delivering presentations in schools, collaborating with post-secondary institutions, and sharing information on workplace safety for young workers with community organizations and government agencies.

The Youth Education Consultant also supports Island workplaces by:
- Providing safety resources for workplace use.
- Delivering in-person safety presentations and workshops to young workers.
- Educating managers and supervisors about the unique traits of young workers.
