For a fast, secure, and convenient way to receive payments, the WCB uses direct deposit for all benefit types. This includes wage loss benefits, medical aid reimbursements, and travel expenses.
You can sign up for direct deposit easily, using our Direct Deposit Request form.
To complete the form, you’ll need:
- Your WCB claim number
- Your banking details, including your bank’s address, the institution number, transit number, and account number. This information can be found at the bottom of a physical cheque, or by generating a void cheque/direct deposit form through your online banking portal.
If you’re submitting a blank cheque, please write "VOID" across the from of the cheque.
You can submit your completed Direct Deposit Request Form to the WCB by email, mail or by dropping it off at our office.
